While the MILF and mature tags are often found in most porn websites and they remain very popular tags to search for, you might have noticed that a lot of these “older” ladies are not necessarily that old. Technically a MILF would just need to be a mother, and you wouldn’t have to be of legal drinking age to be one, but it’s getting remarkably more common to see women in their late 20s or early 30s being catalogued as MILFs.
But when we think of the older woman fantasy, it’s usually someone who technically is old enough to be our mother. I’ll leave any oedipal theories out of this, for all of our sakes, but the truth is it’s not that usual to find a real older woman without it falling into a dodgy niche where a poor old grandma got exploited in some badly lit foreign shoot.
Women over 50 tend to be associated with menopause and suburban lifestyles, but a few of them are still performing adult starlets, doing what they enjoy doing.
Probably the most famous currently active star is Nina Hartley, an absolute legend whose porn career is reaching 30 years in 2014. Same as Briana Banks, she is 44 but she started her career in 1999.
Hartley rose to prominence in the 80s and has been one of the biggest advocates of the industry in these three decades. She’s kind of taken this authority figure status to heart and has marketed a series of instructional videos under the name Nina Hartley’s Guide, covering a broad hands-on sex education spectrum. Hartley famously said in 2010, “Now I work with women who are younger than my breast implants.”
Hartley is an anomaly in the industry, never retiring and still doing what she loves, but she was 24 when she first came into the scene, and not everyone starts early. Penny Porsche is a great example of a late-bloomer. The obscenely busty blonde began her journey in the adult business at the tender age of 43. Her vigorous sex scenes, abundant squirting and, of course, massive 38F boobs made her a fan favorite.
There’s even an example of someone who took the mother concept to another level. De’Bella actually started her porn career at 50, inspired by her own daughter’s foray into the business, fellow starlet Jewell De’Nyle. That, by the way, made for a very entertaining episode of Howard Stern on Demand, if you can find it.
Others take it a generational step up and remain active well into their 60s. Blue Iris, Bea Cummings and even the over-70 Denise Hardman are all examples of women who bypassed the standards and just went for what they loved. I think there’s a threshold I personally don’t cross; but if that’s your jam, go crazy, buddy! The fact that they keep on doing it just proves there’s a big enough market, and you’re far from being alone on this.
