Early this year we found out about the pre-release of the new PSVR 2, now some time has passed since its official release and we have some insights to share with all our VR enthusiasts on whether the PSVR 2 is VR porn worthy.
In other words, we’ve done all the hard work to ensure you don’t go out and spend big bucks on VR tech if you’re looking exclusively for porn compatibility. As an all-around piece of kit for gaming and other occasional entertainment it’s a beast. But when it comes to PSVR porn it is certainly lacking important elements and comes with a pricey tag.
Missing access to VR Porn next-gen features

The whole idea is to guide the user on their unique journey, allowing them to break through a virtual barrier to reach limitless surroundings.
Not compatible with VR Sex Toys
As you know, one of our recent new features has been Funscripts. Allowing users to connect their interactive sex toys with their VR Headset and favorite scenes.
But the PSVR 2 is unable to support haptic technology. If you were thinking of connecting this with the Handy, Kiiroo, or any other interactive sex toys you will soon find yourself discouraged.
The device is not wireless
Connectivity issues seem to be one of the biggest problems, which limits sensory feedback. This headset lacks any wireless features, a cable is required for constant use to be plugged into the PS5 so expect some reduced movement. In addition to this WiFi connectivity is still not an option. These features are not uncommon but it does make the experience limited.
The price is not worthy
After mentioning all of the above, we can’t forget to mention the price point and it may surprise some. The PSVR 2 had a launch price of $549.99 or €599.99, making it more expensive than the majority of headsets.
In fact, more than all the current generation of all-in-one VR headsets, apart from the Quest Pro. Not to mention that you will also need to purchase the PS5 to make it compatible, it is a really big investment if you’re just starting out in the world of VR.
