Instructions

HTC Vive is a virtual reality system that allows you to experience immersive virtual reality. To set up HTC Vive, you will need a computer with the HTC Vive system requirements. You will also need to connect the HTC Vive to the computer. Once you have everything set up, you must download and install the HTC Vive software. Once the software is installed, you can launch the HTC Vive and start using it.

The first thing you need to do is make sure your computer has the HTC Vive system requirements. These requirements are:

  • Download the Rad TV application from the Playstation store.
  • Launch the Rad TV App.
  • To access all features you need to create an account and log in.

The next thing you will need to do is connect your HTC Vive to your computer. You can do this using the included cable or a USB port on your computer. Once you have connected to the HTC Vive, you will need to launch the HTC Vive software.

1. Setup the HTC Vive Environment

Make sure your PC is compatible with the HTC Vive. You can find a list of recommended specs here. Download the install package from vive.com/setup and go through the installation wizard. The install package will automatically detect and configure all the equipment.

Additionally: After setting up the hardware, we will need to install the VivePort software. The link is: https://www.vive.com/us/setup/viveport/

The HTC Vive software will launch and will ask you to sign in. After you have signed in, the software will show you the main menu. The first thing you need to do is select Settings from the main menu.

From the Settings menu, you will be able to change your display settings. You can change how much information is displayed on the screen and which devices are supported by the HTC Vive. You can also adjust how loud the sound is. The next thing you will need to do is connect your controllers. You can do this by selecting the Controllers option from the Settings menu. The HTC Vive software will then show you a list of devices connected to your computer. Select the controllers that you want to use and then click OK.

You can disconnect your controllers by selecting the Disconnect Controllers option from the Settings menu. After disconnecting your controllers, you can unplug your HTC Vive from your computer.

2. Download and install a VR video player compatible with the Vive system

You will need to launch the VivePort application, and navigate to the APPS section. There you can search for the Viveport Video app. From there, you can download and install the Viveport Video app.

You can use a VR video player compatible with Vive of your choice. We recommend the following:

  • 1. DeoVR - is a straight-forward, high performance video player for 2D, 3D, flat, 180°and 360° videos.
  • 2. Skybox VR - Skybox VR is an ultimate local VR video player which supports video playback from local storage and network shared servers.

3. Download a video to your PC

We try to optimize our videos for every display available, all you have to do is select the right one. HTC Vive users should select the Vive / Oculus HQ - 60fps.

4. Use the VR video player to play the video

  • 1) After connecting your headset, please launch the Viveport application.
  • 2) From there launch the Viveport Video application.
  • 3) Navigate to the folder that contains your downloaded video.
  • 4) Select the video you would like to play.
  • 5) You can use the on-screen controls to Fast-Forward or Rewind.
PLEASE NOTE: Please refer to the player's documentation.

5. Enjoy the experience
